Veda Seva

कुक्षौ तिष्ठति यस्यान्नं वेदाभ्यासेन जीर्यते। कुलं तारयते तेषां दशपूर्वां दशापराम् ॥

The core function of Veda Vedanta Gurukula Mahavidyalaya is Veda Pathashala. Nurturing and supporting students and gurus learning and practicing Vedas, results in upliftment of generations of ancestors as well as descendants. Donations can be made towards sponsoring a Vedic student or guru or both.

कच्चिदाशास्ति देवानां प्रसादं पार्थिवात्मजः। कच्चित् पुरुषकारं च दैवं च प्रतिपद्यते ॥

For success in life, God’s grace is as important as human effort. Regular pujas are conducted in the shrines of Sri Sharada Parameshwari and Sri Vidya Ganapati located at Vedalaya campus. Devotees can chose to sponsor or perform a puja, either in person, or virtually. Devotees opting to perform the puja virtually may opt to watch live streaming via Facebook. Choose a puja for your Family or Self or Spouse or Child or Parent or someone near and dear well-being. Please book your puja 1 week in advance. Virtual devotee would receive prasadam via post in 2 weeks from the date of puja.

गावो ममाग्रतः सन्तु गावो मे सन्तु पृष्ठतः। गावो मे हृदये सन्तु गवां मध्ये वसाम्यहम्॥

Vedic way of life revolves around Gomata. Our goal is to be self-sufficient for all milk and milk products needed for the Vedalaya including abhishekams and naivedyams in the temples, as well as meeting the farming and fuel needs through cow manure and bio-gas. We welcome you to donate or sponsor a cow or cows

कच्चिदाशास्ति देवानां प्रसादं पार्थिवात्मजः । कच्चित् पुरुषकारं च दैवं च प्रतिपद्यते ॥

Rig Veda says, a person who eats food alone and does not share with others is guilty of performing sin. A man who acquires food with fruitless labour will obtain no merits.

To run and maintain an organization that is working towards human well being needs support from donors like you. To keep up with time and changes Vedalaya infrastructure needs revamping, maintenance and upgrade. We are fervently working towards providing the most suitable accommodation for the Gurus, vidyarthis and visitors. Your donations would help us to maintain and upgrade the infrastructure of Vedalaya such as Cottages, Pushkarini, Veda Patashala, etc., Donations to Vedalaya seva would be utilized for infrastructure and sustainability project at Vedalaya.
