Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Guidance: Instruct students in Vedic chanting, pronunciation, recitation, and interpretation of Vedic texts.
- Customized Learning: Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students of varying ages and abilities.
- Preservation of Sanatana Dharma: Ensure the authentic transmission of Vedic knowledge and rituals in accordance with the Sanatana Dharma.
- Mentorship: Provide spiritual and moral guidance to students, fostering their personal growth and commitment to the Vedic path.
- Ceremonial Leadership: Lead Vedic rituals, ceremonies, homams, and yajnas as required.
- Collaboration: Work in harmony with fellow adhyapakas and administrative staff to maintain the Pathashala’s overall functioning.
The institution is seeking knowledgeable Veda adhyapakas who are enthusiastic to impart knowledge of the Vedas to the Veda vidyarthis, to join the Veda Pathashala. As a Veda adhyapaka, you will have the unique opportunity to impart your wisdom and expertise to students who are eager to learn and preserve the Vedic heritage. This role offers a chance to be part of an institution deeply rooted in tradition while contributing to its continued growth and relevance. Presently, the Veda Shakhas that will be taught at the institution include Rig Veda (Shakala Shakha), Krishna Yajur Veda (Taittireeya Shakha), Shukla Yajur Veda (Kanva Shakha), and Smartham.
Qualifications:- A deep understanding of Vedic texts, traditions, and rituals.
- Achievement of ‘Ghanapati’ title in the chosen branch of Veda among the three shakhas that are the primary focus of the institution, viz., Rig Veda (Shakala Shakha), Krishna Yajur Veda (Taittireeya Shakha), Shukla Yajur Veda (Kanva Shakha) and Smartham.
- Ability to teach Vedic texts.
- Effective communication and people skills.
- Dedication to upholding and preserving Vedic knowledge and traditions.
- Proficiency in Sanskrit would be an added advantage.
- Previous experience as a Veda adhyapaka in a Veda Pathashala would be an added advantage.

- Adhyapakas who train the vidyarthis to pass the Sringeri examinations of Kramapati will get a lumpsum Sambhavana of Rs. 1.5 lacs at the time of the vidyarthi’s passing this exam.
- Adhyapakas who train the vidyarthis to pass the Sringeri examinations for Smartham (after about 8 years of education of the Smartham vidyarthis) will get a lumpsum Sambhavana of Rs. 1.0 lac at the time of the vidyarthi’s passing this exam.

Admission Criteria:
Students desirous of being part of this institution should satisfy the following admission criteria:
- Should be boys in the age group of 7 to 12.
- Completed upanayana samskaram.
- Have a sincere desire to study and preserve the wisdom of the Vedas.
- Should be willing to lead a disciplined life under the guidance of the Veda adhyapakas of the institution.
- Should be willing to commit to the rigorous academic and spiritual curriculum of the Pathashala.
- Should demonstrate bright intellect and willingness to learn.
- Should commit to at least 8 years of learning of the Vedas.

- Vidyarthis who pass the Sringeri examinations for Smartham (after about 8 years of education) will get a lumpsum Sambhavana of Rs. 2.5 lacs at the time of passing this exam.
